Red Date Drink with Manuka Honey


Proportions to make it taste good!
2 hand full of Dried Red Dates
1 Litre of Water
1 tablespoon of Manuka Honey
1 cup of Room Temperature Water

Put the 1 Litre of Water to boil. While waiting cut the Dried Red Dates, take out the seed and rinse them. When the water is boiling, put in the Red Dates and boil for 30mins on Medium heat. In a separate cup, mix room temperature water to dissolve Manuka Honey. Mix both Red Dates Drink and Manuka Honey Drink together. It can be drink warm or chilled. Would not advice to put ice as it will dilute the drink.


Health Benefit of Red Dates
It is a fruit from the shade tree, when dried it has higher potassium, Vitamins B1, B2. It has also Vitamin A, protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron and magnesium.
It helps to chase away the cold on a chilly day.

Remedies for Home Curing::: Cold and Flu - Honey Lemon Ginger Tea!

Who is down with cold and flu this time around? The Dear. Warm cup of home remedy to cheer him up!

Flu Remedy - Honey Lemon Ginger Tea

Time for some vitamin C ~!!! A very common in intake that needs to be doubled when you’re having Cold and Flu. However, dear and me have not been taking enough dosage of vitamin C to strengthen our immune and reduce the risk of catching a cold.
1000mg every 3-4hours at times like this.

Regimen of restoring ones health, a lot and I mean A LOT of liquids should be consume when you’re down with cold and flu.

Somehow, this old old cold and flu tea remedy is pretty common to be consumed at times like this...

Flu Remedy - Honey Lemon Ginger Tea 3

Ingredients:::
One-inch piece of Fresh Ginger
4 tablespoons of Honey
4 tablespoons of Lemon Juice
500ml of Water
500ml Thermos

you must be wondering why...there is reasons behind these ingredients!!!
WHY Ginger & Honey? Both are good to help the immune system.
WHY Lemon? They are high in Vitamin C.

Here’s what you do:
1. Fill up your pot and get the water boiling.
2. Grate the ginger or chop them up in thin slices.
3. Put the ginger, lemon, and honey in the thermos.
4. When the water boiled, pour it in the thermos.
5. Close the thermos tight, do a little shake-shake, and let it sit for 20mins to brew.
6. Strain into a tea cup and enjoy!
