Pasta Exploration ::: Tuna Aglio Olio

First Aglio Olio served to the picky Aglio Olio eater the deary. His comments over this dish is it only lack of fresh chili slices for the spicy kick.

Ingredients
1 can of Tuna in Water
3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 cloves of sliced/crushed Garlic
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 sliced Chilli Padi
Sprinkle of Italian Herbs
1.5cm Angle Hair Spaghetti (x2 to x3)
2 L of Water
1 teaspoon of Salt

Step by Step
Step 1 Pour Water to boil over the stove with 1 teaspoon of Salt. If the water is boiling place in the pasta. (Cooking the pasta together with the Aglio Olio sauce.)
Step 2 Heat up a pan and add in the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, sliced/crushed Garlic and Cayenne Pepper. Stir fry until garlic is cooked.
Step 3 Toss in the cooked Angle Hair Spaghetti and a dash of salt to taste. Dish on a plate.
Step 4 Turn up the heat and pour the can of Tuna in Water in the same spaghetti pan. Simmer until all the water has evaporated.
Step 5 Dish on top of the Aglio Olio. Crush on some Black Pepper and sprinkle some Italian Herbs before serving.

Appetizer Exploration ::: Cutie Tuna Cherry Tomato Bites

Second appetizer recipe here, Tuna Cherry Tomato Bites~ One of all of our favorite at Mother's Day Dinner! Flavored Tuna being served in Cherry Tomatoes makes it easier and more fun as you just need to pop it in your mouth!

Important to make sure the Cherry Tomatoes used are good-quality with firm, smooth-skin and pinkish orange! If they are green leave it to ripen at room temperature avoiding any sunlight.

This is definitely more towards all of our liking then the Honey Ham Baby Asparagus Roll-Ups. Have fun.......

Ingredients:::
1 box of Cherry Tomatoes
1 can of Tuna Mayo
1 teaspoon of Chilli Powder
1 teaspoon of Tabasco Sauce
Half inch size Chives for garnishing

1. Wash and soak Cherry Tomatoes for 15mins.
2. Put Tuna Mayo Chilli Powder and Tabasco Sauce in a small bowl and mix well. Place it in the fridge when done.
3. Preparation of Cherry Tomatoes: Cut the top and bottom off slightly for it to sit well when serve. Next is to slice it into half, take a small butter knife and remove all the seed parts leaving it hollow. Reason of doing this we do not want the sourness of the tomato to spoil this appetizer. Rinse it with filter water and shake a little to dry.
4. Take 2 teaspoons, spoon and push the tuna mixture to fill up the hollow tomatoes. Also leave a generous portion of Tuna Mountain!
5. Decorate it with chives. Place it on a nice plate to serve.

A delightful appetizer that will be loved by everyone. :)

Sandwiches Exploration ::: Flaky Tuna Mayo Croissant

Simple few steps idea here for you today! It's so easy to make why would you want to spend your money at Délifrance or any cafe just to have it?
Tuna Croissant

Ingredients:::
1 bag of Croissants from any supermarket
1 tin of chunks Tuna in Water/Oil
4 tablespoons of Mayonnaise
2 Diced Shallots
sliced Tomatoes
Lettuces

1. Warm up the Croissant in an oven at 160 degrees for 3-5mins.
2. Make 2 holes on the tin & drain, we do not want to press on the tuna to drain totally as we want the tuna flavor to be kept. Open the whole can & put the tuna into a bowl. Press the tuna with a fork to make them flaky then mix in the Shallots and Mayonnaise till even. The Tuna Filling is ready!
3. Take out the Croissant and slice it in half leaving about 5mm away from the other end.
4. Place a layer of lettuce in then spread the tuna mayo generously. Next put 2-3 slices of tomatoes. Close it & the sandwich is DONE! (Be careful not to open too wide, we don't want the Croissant to split.)

Since I have been always thinking sandwich is healthy and does not have so much calories, I have doubts that actually this Tuna Croissant has little so again google tells me that it all depends on the mayo used, approximately 550. As, Croissants are made out of a lot of butter adding on with the mayo and the tuna has oil too.

Simple & easy to make... who cares so much about the calories it gives it's a delicious sandwich to have! It can be eaten for breakfast or lunch!
